The Council on Aging will host its annual Shrimp Boil and Day of Praise at the Cade Community Center on Thursday, January 27 from 9:00 a. m. until 2:00 p. m. A light continental breakfast will be served. Bingo will be played from 10:00 a.m. until lunchtime. From 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p. m., there will be musical entertainment. Door prizes will be given throughout the day, and a cash blackout game of Bingo will be played at 12:30 p.m. The event is open to St. Martin Parish residents who are 60 and older. Each person will receive three pounds of shrimp with, potatoes, corn, dessert, and a drink. Registration is now open and is limited to the first 350 people.
